Carrie Manning

Carrie R. Manning of Montello passed away peacefully late Thursday evening October 27, 2017 at Aurora Medical Center in Oshkosh after a long and courageous fight against kidney disease at the age of 73. Carrie was born in Madison on January 14, 1944 and married Patrick James Manning on April 8, 1967. They purchased a home and moved to Montello where they lived their entire lives. Patrick preceded Carried in death in 2008. Carrie was a loving mother and will be remembered for the way she cared for her family and treated others. She enjoyed fishing, playing cards and passing the time by doing crossword puzzles. Carrie leaves behind three children: Joe (Christine) of Pardeeville, Patrick "P.J." of Montello and Lora of Wisconsin Rapids as well as six grandsons: Austin, Jameson, Connor, Anthony (Taija), Daniel (fiancAC.e Cheryl) and Patrick (fiancAC.e Dakota) and two granddaughters: Michelle (Brian) and Jackie. She is also survived by great-granddaughters: Charlie, Aria and Lydia and great-grandsons: Ashton, Dayton, Nathaniel, Gabriel and Isaac. Carrie is further survived by sisters: Inez, Nancy, Shirley, Donna and Barb as well as other extended family members. Carrie's wishes were to have no formal funeral services. The family will be having a private gathering to celebrate her life. Donations are preferred in Carrie's name to the Budda Box Fight Against Cancer, P.O. Box 91, Westfield, WI 53964.
