Marilyn Dudenhoefer

April 28, 1934 — February 4, 2017

Marilyn Regina Dudenhoefer, age 82 of Oxford, WI passed away at home with family present on February 4, 2017 to follow her son, Mark, and her parents, Harry and Helen, brother, Walter and sister, Helen, into eternal life. Marilyn was also preceded in death by her husband Tom's parents, Leonard "Skipper" and Silvera and his sister and brother-in-law, Jean and Robert Krieger. Marilyn was born in Milwaukee on April 28, 1934 to Harry and Helen Jones. She graduated from Juneau High School in 1952. Marilyn met her husband, Tom, while attending Marquette University. They were married at St. Anthony of Padua Church in 1954 and moved to Gulfport, MS. Marilyn returned to Wisconsin during Tom's USAF tour in Korea. They then lived a few years in Colville, WA before returning to Milwaukee. They were blessed with seven children. Marilyn retired from the City of Milwaukee Police Department. After moving to Adams County, she worked at Elliot Farms and the Marquette-Adams Telephone Co. Marilyn was a life member of the Neenah Valley VFW Auxiliary and the Friendship Circle of St. Ann Catholic Church in Brooks, WI. Marilyn is survived by Thomas, her husband of more than 62 years, who will love her forever; her sons: Michael (Dawn) of East Troy, Martin (Lucretia) of Trenton, Ty John (Kelly) of Port Washington; her daughters: Suzanne Lynn of Waunakee, Paula Jean (Paul), Mary Louise (Michael), and daughter-in-law Somlot "Nit" all of Milwaukee. Marilyn is further survived by her grandchildren: Adam, Jeffery, Angelica, Amanda, Gregory, Cassandra, Krista, Joseph, Ty, Joshua, Michelle, Patrick, Nicholas, Timothy, Thomas, Tuey Anna, and Thomas; and great-grandchildren: Silvera, Emilia, Kingsley, and Ikechukwu; and nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. A Mass of Christian Burial for Marilyn Dudenhoefer will be held on Wednesday, February 8, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Montello. Visitation will be held on Tuesday evening from 4:30 until 6:30 p.m., concluding with a Rosary Prayer Service at 6:30 p.m. at Crawford Funeral Home in Oxford. Visitation will also take place from 10:00 a.m. until the time of Mass on Wednesday at the church. Father Paulraj Sellam and Monsignor John Hebl will concelebrate the Mass and burial will take place at 2:30 p.m. at Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Brooks on Wednesday.
