Scott Larson

Scott Robert Larson, age 41 of Oxford passed away unexpectedly Friday, December 23, 2016 at his home. Scott was born in Oak Park, IL on January 25, 1975 to Robert and Margaret (Schmidt) Larson. He graduated from Oak Park River Forest High School in 1993 and was an International Internet Technology Expert, avid outdoorsman, fisherman, hunter, craftsman, golf enthusiast and active member of the Jordan Lake community and Lake Board. Scott was the 'Go-To-Guy' for family, neighbors, and friends. He was there with a helping hand, a quick wit and always made you smile. He was dearly loved and will be truly missed by all. Scott leaves behind his parents: Peg (Jack) Mazeika of Jordan Lake and Robert (Sue) Larson of Oak Park, IL and siblings: Ingrid (Jim) Wappler, Ian (Katie) Mazeika, and Katherine Larson. He is also survived by his maternal grandmother, Jane Larson and nieces and nephews: Savannah, Louis and Dakota Wappler as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, neighbors and friends. Scott is preceded in death by his paternal grandfather and maternal grandparents. A funeral service for Scott will be held on Wednesday, December 28, 2016 at 12:00 pm (noon) at the Crawford Funeral Home in Oxford. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of service. Judy Andres will lead the service and private family burial will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Hope House of South Central WI at 720 Ash St., P.O.
