Alpharetta Jones

Alpharetta Ida Jones, age 90 of Branfrod, FL (formerly of Montello) passed away after a lengthy illness on Wednesday, April 10,2013 at Haven Hospice of the Chiefland Care Center in Chiefland, FL. Mrs. Jones moved from Montello to Gilchrist County, FL in 2000. She and her husband, Hollis operated Jones Christmas Tree Farms in Gilchrist County and Montello and also were active members of the First Baptist Church of Branford. Survivors include her husband of 64 years, Hollis and two children: Suzanne (Jeff) Newman of Valrico, FL and Ronald (Janet) of Montello. She is also survived by four grandchildren as well as two great-grandchildren. A funeral service will be conducted on Saturday, April 13, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. in the First Baptist Church of Branford with Rev. Gordon Keller and Rev. Dan Main officiating. A graveside prayer service will be led by Pastor Ron Larson on Thursday, April 18, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at Underhill Cemetery, Packwaukee Township.
