Alyce Eileen Daggett, age 91 of Montello passed away Tuesday morning, May 5, 2015 at her home.  Alyce was born in Winnebago County, Wisconsin on July 9, 1923 to Earl and Jennie (Hayes) Kalmerton.  She graduated from Omro High School 1940 and married Irving Daggett on July 13, 1942 in Oshkosh.  Irv preceded Alyce in death on April 27, 2002.  Alyce and Irv owned and operated Daggett Realty and Snow Crest Christmas Trees in Montello for many years.  One of her greatest honors was in 1988 when she and Irv won the National Christmas Tree Association Award and presented a Christmas Tree along with their family to President Ronald Reagan at the White House.  Alyce enjoyed playing cards and was an active member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Montello.  She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.  Alyce leaves behind her four children:  Dale "Bud" (Mary) of Montello, Diane (James) Chapman of Endeavor, Dawn (David) Anderson of Westfield and Robert "Bob" (Anita) of Montello as well as twelve grandchildren: Katie (Sam) Johnsrud, Gary (Abby) Daggett, Brian (Sydney Taufen) Daggett, Daniel (Jennifer) Chapman, David (Leah) Chapman, Julia (Tom) Considine, Laura (Alex) Veloz, Rachel (Rick) Krizan, Davin Anderson, Maxwell Anderson, Jenna Daggett and Alexis Daggett.  She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren: Tenly, Katherine, William, Ellia, Anna, Luke, Jackson, A.J. and Rachel as well as four siblings: Lowell (Iva) Kalmerton, Marilyn Sheppard, Elwyn Kalmerton and Donna Rehfeldt.  Alyce is further survived by her sister-in-law, Joan Johnson as well as nieces, nephews and many dear friends.  Alyce is preceded in death by her parents, husband, sister, Eleanor German and brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.  A funeral service for Alyce will be held on Saturday, May 9, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Trinity United Methodist Church, W3032 Park Street, Montello.  Visitation will be held on Friday evening at the church from 4:00 until 7:00 p.m. and again on Saturday from 9:30 a.m. until the hour of service.  Pastor Jeffery Radley will officiate and burial will follow at the Montello City Cemetery.
