Ann Trimble

Ann Marie Trimble, age 91 of Packwaukee passed away peacefully early Sunday morning, August 19, 2012 at the Heritage House in Portage. Ann was born in Packwaukee to Eugene and Clara (Reiche) Herman on June 15, 1921. She attended grade school in Packwaukee and graduated from the Westfield High School. Ann married Raymond Trimble on July 7, 1943 at Langely Field, VA; he preceded her in death in June of 2008. Ann was first and foremost a mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She enjoyed gardening, sewing and watching birds. Ann loved to talk to people and was always sharing her own flowers with everyone. She and Raymond spent many years with their flea market/antique business where they made many lifelong friends. Survivors include her six children: Curtis (Joan) of Endeavor, Carol (Bill) McConochie of Portage, Charles (Judy) of Packwaukee, Chester (Teresa) of Packwaukee, Arthur of Portage and Victor (Vikki) of Packwaukee. Ann is also survived by fifteen grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. She is further survived by nieces, nephews and many friends. In addition to her parents and husband, Ann is also preceded in death by her sister, Lila Mae and two brothers, Charles and Edward. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, August 23, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at the Trinity United Methodist Church in Montello. Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Crawford Funeral Home and again on Thursday at church from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of service. Pastor Dawn Helton-Anishinaabeqwa will officiate and burial will follow at the Underhill Cemetery, Packwaukee Township.
