Ann Wopinski-Hunt

"Here's The Story" Ann "Annie" Bernice Wopinski-Hunt, age 71 of Montello passed away Friday, June 9, 2017 at her home. Ann was born in Ipswich, England to Joe and Audrey (Pack) Wopinski on August 16, 1945. Annie came to the United States as a young girl and later became a 1963 graduate of Kelly High School in Chicago. She worked in the healthcare field for many years. For the past 22 years, she cared for handicapped individuals in her home. Annie enjoyed crocheting, traveling with her friends and spending time with her grandchildren. Annie leaves behind by two sons: Jonathan (Amy) of Coloma and Jason of Montello as well as seven grandchildren: Barry, Steven, Sam, Madison, Jason, Joseph and James. Annie is further survived by her great-granddaughter, Kaia, mother, Audrey and siblings: Linda, Martin (Patricia), Jeanouche and Joseph (Janet) as well as nieces, nephews and many friends. Annie is preceded in death by her father, Joe, brother, Barry and daughter, Jennifer Mayer. Honoring Annie wishes, private family services will be held.
