Arnold Hillmer Sr

Arnold Hillmer Sr., age 76, of Montello, formerly of Milwaukee passed away Monday, May 3, 2010 at the Zilber Family Hospice Center in Wauwatosa, WI. He was born on October 24, 1933 in Milwaukee to Erwin and Irene (Bahr) Hillmer. On November 20, 1954 he married Donna Ludke in Mukwonago and together they had two sons. In his working years, Arnold worked as a mason until retiring to the Montello area permanently in 1995. He thoroughly enjoyed hunting and fishing and will always be remembered for his loving and caring nature. Survivors include: two sons, Arnold Jr. (Jean) of Muskego and Jeff of Oak Creek. He is also survived by two grandchildren: Matthew (Sarah) of Wind Lake and Crystal Hillmer of Muskego and one brother, Robert Hillmer of New Berlin, along with other numerous friends and relatives. Arnold was preceded in death by his wife, Donna and infant granddaughter, Liza Marie. A funeral service will be held for Arnold at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, May 7, 2010 at St. John's Lutheran Church in Montello. Visitation will be held at the church on Friday from 9:00 a.m. until the hour of service. Rev. R.F. Westendorf will officiate and burial will follow at the Montello City Cemetery. Memorials are preferred to the family.
