Arnold “Arnie” Kenneth Schehr, age 67 of Endeavor passed away Sunday, November 30, 2025 at UW Hospital in Madison surrounded by his family. Arnie was born in Portage on September 27, 1958 to Clifford and Delores (Schrab) Schehr. He owned and operated Schehr’s Landscaping and Excavating for 38 years. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and also enjoyed being at his farm, a good slot machine, and breakfast at Dinos.
Arnie is survived by his mother, Delores Schehr of Endeavor and six children: Rabecka (Don) Hankel of Endeavor, Joshua (Nicole Watford) Schehr of Montello, Lindsay (AJ Dummer) Schehr of Pardeeville, Bonnie (Kyle Wheaton) Schehr of Portage, Brittany (Ryan Stensrud) Siciliano of Portage and Rachael Schehr of Madison. He is also survived by the mother of his children, Cheryl Selbach and 16 grandchildren: Timothy, Kimberly, Alice, Noah, Zac, Amelia, Sofia, Luke, Lainey, Patience, Madison, Demontae, Vincent, Kaylee, Liddy, and Ellie. One of the greatest joys of his life was his grandchildren, who could always count on him for a gas-station treat run—earning him the beloved nickname ‘TicTac Grandpa’. He is further survived by his siblings: Gary, Tony (Sally), Brenda Schehr, Debbie (Doug) Thome and Kevin along with nieces, nephews and many friends.
Arnie is preceded in death by his father and grandson, Isaiah.
A celebration of Arnold Schehr's life will be held on Saturday, December 13, 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Trinity Endeavor United Church of Christ. Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM until the hour of service at the church.
