Barbara Marshall

Barbara "Barb" Marshall, age 60 of Oxford passed away Monday afternoon, November 25, 2013 at Divine Savior Hospital in Portage. Barb was born in Milwaukee to Frank and Ruth Weasel on May 16, 1953. She attended Rufus King High School and at age 17 she moved to Marquette County. Throughout her adult life, she has lived in various parts of the county. Barb married Gary Marshall on January 31, 1990 and together they resided in rural Oxford. Barb loved to camp as well as watch the birds. She enjoyed visiting with her friends, doing puzzles and listening to country-western music. Barb was also a cat lover and took great pride in her family. She will be greatly missed. Survivors include: her husband of 23 years, Gary, her son, Brian Erdman of Seymour and two step-daughters: Jodi (Chad) Christenson of Lena and Robin (Sean) Flynn of Breed. She is further survived by numerous grandchildren and sister-in-law, Shirley Weasel. Barb is preceded in death by her parents, son, James Erdman and brothers: Robert Weasel and Frank Weasel Jr. A graveside prayer service led by Pastor Brenda Pulver will take place on Wednesday, December 4, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. at the Oxford Village Cemetery. A celebration of Barb's life will be held on Saturday, March 29, 2014 from 1:00 until 5:00 p.m. at the Oxford VFW hall.
