Betty Kottka

Betty June Kottka, age 91 of Portage and formerly of Westfield passed away early Saturday morning, April 22, 2017 at Divine Savior Hospital in Portage. Betty was born in Racine to Thurston and Hilda (Nickoli) Wright on April 2, 1926. She married Alfred Kottka on March 10, 1945 in Beaver Dam and together returned to Westfield to his family's farm until it was later sold. Living in Westfield for many years; together they later moved to Portage. Alfred preceded Betty in death on April 24, 2016. Betty is survived by one daughter, Linda (Jeff) Glaser as well as four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and many friends. Betty is preceded in death by her parents, husband, step-father, Dick Roberts and son, William "Billy" as well as other extended family members. Private family services with inurnment at Westfield East Cemetery will be held at a later date.
