Robert Haase

Robert “Bob” LeRoy Haase, age 76 of Oxford passed away peacefully with his wife by his side on Friday, March 24, 2023 at his home.  Bob was born in Beloit to Bruce and Hazel (Ellingson) Haase on August 28, 1946.  He graduated from Beloit Memorial High School in 1963 and went into the United States Air Force where he proudly served his country.  Bob returned from service and went to work at Warner’s Electric Brake followed a career in advertising and eventually owned his own business as a contractor.  He was united in marriage on May 28, 1993 to Vivian “Vicki” (Myers) Atwell in Dubuque, Iowa and together they moved to rural Oxford in 1995.  Bob enjoyed the outdoors, especially hunting, fishing and even spending time gardening.  He loved his family and treasured the time he was able to spend with them, he will be greatly missed.

Bob leaves behind his wife, Vicki and two sons: Brian (Vickie) of Rockton, IL and Bobby (Wendy) of Elkhorn along with many grandchildren and two sisters:  Karen DeLong and Joan Kowinski.  He is also survived by two step-sons: Timothy (Mia) Atwell and Joshua (Melissa) Atwell as well as other extended family members.

Bob is preceded in death by his parents and two daughters: Audra and Amber Haase.

Honoring Bob’s wishes, private family services will take place at a later date.
