Bonnie Violetto

Bonnie Lee Violetto, age 72 of Montello passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, April 3, 2024 at Aspirus Divine Savior Hospital in Portage. Bonnie was born in Portage to Russell and Donna (Strong) Gray.  She graduated from Montello High School in 1969 and married Thomas “Tom” Violetto at St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in Montello on June 19, 1971 and together they resided in Montello where they raised their two sons.  Tom preceded Bonnie in death on June 5, 2019.

Bonnie was a very giving and gracious person, always putting others’ needs before her own.  Her family was the center of her life.  She and Tom enjoyed winters at their home in St. Petersburg, Florida.  Bonnie was known for her green thumb, artistic talents and working alongside her sisters and mother.     

 Bonnie is survived by her two sons: Joseph (Kristina) and their children: Heidi and Andrew “Buddy” all of Montello and Telly (Tamara) and their children: Isabella and Liam all of Cedarburg.   She is also survived by her siblings: Pamela (David) Hunter, Jean (Dennis) Cuff, and Annette St. Onge all of Montello and Todd (Tracy) of Fort Atkinson.  Bonnie is further survived by her grandpug, Eddie and other extended family members.

 Bonnie is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Tom, three brothers: Robb, Russell Jr. (Susan) and Gary.

 Honoring Bonnie’s wishes, private services will be held at a later date.
