Brian A. Sluga, age 57 of Montello lost his almost 2-year fight with cancer on November 10, 2017. Brian was born in South Milwaukee to Anthony Sluga and Margaret Honkala. He moved his family to the Oxford area as he felt a small town was a better place to raise a family. He was an over the road truck driver for many years and did factory work for a while after that. Brian was very proud of the fact that he went back to school and received his master plumbers license and opened the very successful plumbing business, Sluga Plumbing. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, traveling and always said he couldn't start his day without The Price Is Right. Brian leaves behind his significant other, Valorie Schable, mother of his children, Theresa Reick, son, Eric (Anna Monson) Sluga and daughter, Jennifer (Samuel Sekanick) Sluga, grandsons: Xavier and Avery, brothers and sisters, Grace, Anthony, William, Yvonne, and Albert, their spouses and children. A celebration of Brian's life will be held at the American Legion Post #351, W3008 State Road 23, Montello on Sunday, November 19th from 12-3pm. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Brian's name can be given to Budda-Box Against Cancer, P.O. Box 91, Westfield, WI 53964. So, when Brian knocked on the pearly gate and St. Peter asked who is it? He answered "Brian Sluga, master plumber, at your service". Crawford Funeral and Cremation Service of Montello and Oxford is honored to be serving the family. www.CrawfordFH.com
