Carol "Kelly" Lalor

Carol “Kelly” J. Lalor, age 80 of Montello passed away Thursday, November 5, 2026 at her home. Kelly was born in Portage on June 19, 1946 to Gerald and Viola (Laverence) Jaster. She graduated from Montello High School in 1964 and married David Lalor in Menominee, Michigan on September 5th of that same year. Together they resided in Montello their entire lives and raised three children. Throughout Kelly’s working career she was employed at Glen Oak Lumber, Converter Concepts and ultimately retired from Arimon Technologies. She enjoyed crocheting as well as gardening, but most of all she loved being grandma. One of Kelly’s favorite trips was to Kauai, Hawaii with her daughters, granddaughter, Amber and special friend, Linda Boville. Kelly adored her sisters and time spent together and will be remembered for her witty sense of humor.

Kelly is survived by her husband of 62 years, David and three children: Mark of Packwaukee, Christine (Paul) Kearns of Pardeeville and Becky (James) King of Montello. She is also survived by 10 very special grandchildren: Bailey, Andrew, Jared (McKenna), Amber (Jess), Trevor (Sara), Noah (Kristi), Gavin (Kristina), Jesse, Dustin (Ashley) and Brandon as well as eleven great-grandchildren. Kelly is further survived by her sisters: Eleanor Kendall and Arlene Jaster along with other extended family members.

In addition to her parents, Kelly is preceded in death by an infant sister, Norma and two brothers-in-law, Fritz Kendall and Arlie Faulhaber.

Honoring Kelly’s wishes, a public visitation will be held from 9:00 until 11:00 AM at the Crawford Funeral Home in Montello on Thursday, November 12, 2026 followed by a private service for family only. Father Dale Grubba will preside and inurnment will follow at St. John the Baptist Catholic Cemetery, Montello. In lieu of flowers, donations are preferred to Budda Box, P.O. Box 591, Montello, WI 53949.
