Charlene Fredrick

Charlene B. Fredrick, age 67 of Packwaukee passed away unexpectedly at her home Wednesday evening, October 16, 2013. Charlene was born in Chicago, IL on May 6, 1946 to Mark and Jessica (Lange) Croasdale. She graduated from Augusta High School in Augusta, WI and married John Fredrick on March 7, 1964. Together they resided in Racine, WI and raised their five children. Charlene loved this time of year as the seasons changed and enjoyed gardening, loved flowers and was an avid decorator.

Charlene leaves behind her husband, John of 49 years and her five children: Susan VandenBranden, Karen Fredrick, Kathy Fredrick, Russell Fredrick and Jennifer Fredrick, all of Racine. She is also survived by six grandchildren: Brett, Brandi, Brady, Jessie, Lonnie and Charlene as well as two sisters: Marilyn (Jim) Matysik of Genoa, WI and Kathy (Francis) Reams of Tucson, AZ. Charlene is further survived by other family members and many dear friends. Charlene is preceded in death by her parents and sister, Carol Campbell. A memorial service will be held on Monday, October 21, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at the Crawford Funeral Home in Montello. A visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. until the hour of service. Pastor Brenda Pulver will officiate and inurnment will follow the service at Underhill Cemetery, town of Packwaukee.
