Charles Conti

Charles "Chuck" Conti, age 86 of Montello and formerly of Cedarburg passed away Wednesday evening, April 15, 2015 at Divine Savior Hospital in Portage. Chuck was born in Milwaukee to Roland and Helen (Dranga) Conti on July 1, 1928. He served his country as a member of the United States Navy. Chuck married Dorothy Gilbert on June 30, 1951 in Milwaukee. He worked for the City of Greenfield for many years before retiring to Cedarburg. They moved to Montello in 2010 to be closer to family. Chuck loved to fish and golf with his brothers as well as travel. He was an avid metal detector and thoroughly enjoyed spending time with his family. Chuck is survived by his wife of almost 64 years, Dorothy and two daughters: Carrie (Darrel) Boggs of Montello and Cathy Conti of Westfield as well as granddaughter, Krystal Reimer of Portage. He is also survived by two great-grandchildren: Shelby and Carson as well as three brothers: Robert, Richard (Tyke) and Wayne (Susie). Chuck is further survived by several nieces, nephews and many friends. Following Chuck's wishes, private family services will be held at a later date.
