Dale Pate

Dale Pate, long time resident of Elgin and Algonquin, Illinois died peacefully at home of age-related causes in Montello, Wisconsin. He was 91.

Dale is preceded in death by: his parents Kyle and Helen, brother, Jack, son Douglas, beloved wife Beverly, and grandson Douglas Pate. He is survived by his daughter Cindy Elstrom (grandson Anthony Elstrom), son Craig Pate (Jennifer and grandson Jackson Pate), and sister Sally Fohrman (nephews Scott, Paul). He also leaves behind his wife Judy Pate, step-daughters Barb Raupp (Roy) and Debbie Kottmeier (Frank) and their children.

Many heartfelt thanks to Barb and Roy Raupp, their son Andy, and St. Croix Hospice for their assistance in Dale’s care that enabled him to spend his final days at home.

Dale will be laid to rest privately at Lakewood Memorial Park in Elgin. Donations in Dale’s memory are preferred to St. Croix Hospice, 830 State Road 136, Suite 3, Baraboo, WI 53913-9255.
