Damon Dedrick

Damon T. Dedrick, age 31 of Madison died Saturday, September 27, 2014 at St. Mary's Hospital in Madison. Damon was born on December 10, 1982 to Joseph and Barbara (Cramer) Dedrick in Madison. He went to Montello High School and was attending his final class prior to graduating with a 2-year technical diploma as an Industrial Maintenance Technician at Madison Area Technical College. He maintained a 4.0 GPA and was on the Dean's List and received his HVAC certification. Damon was currently employed at Schoeps Ice Cream in Madison as Industrial Maintenance Technician. He enjoyed powerlifting with friends at Ford's Gym in Madison and recently placed first in the Backyard Men's Open in bench press. Damon was an avid Packer fan and enjoyed his only trip to Lambeau Field. He was a caring person with a big heart and a wonderful personality. Damon enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, great food and watching movies. He showed great resiliency amongst life challenges and was known as a dedicated worker. Damon is survived by his daughter, Aubrey, girlfriend, Ashley McDonald, mother, Barbara Dedrick of Montello and five siblings: Michele (Greg) Frystak of Portage, Brad Dedrick of Milwaukee, Derek (Jacki) Dedrick of Montello, Jaret (Lisa) Dedrick of Portage and Shane (Donna) Dedrick of Montello. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and friends. Damon is preceded in death by his father, Joseph and one brother, Chad.

A Mass of Christian Burial for Damon will be held on Thursday, October 2, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church of Montello. Visitation will be held from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service. Father Tim Renz will officiate and burial will follow at St. John the Baptist Catholic Cemetery, town of Montello. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the family.
