Dan Charles Campbell, age 73 of Montello passed away at his home with his family by his side on Thursday, August 6, 2026. Dan was born in Portage on December 14, 1952 to Clayton and Deloris (Paulson) Campbell. He graduated from Montello High School in 1971 and married Diana Eggleston on June 18, 1983. Together they have resided in Montello all their lives.

Dan was a fan of fast cars and big motors. He enjoyed attending races, car shows and always looked forward to his next trip to the casino. Dan cherished spending time with his friends, especially over coffee at the Hilltop. He will be remembered for his sense of humor and the love he had for his family.

Dan is survived by his wife of 43 years, Diana and one daughter, Jennifer Campbell of Montello and two grandsons: Matthew Walters of Montello and Asher Roberts of Portage. He is also survived by one sister, Judy Weiss and two brothers: Richard (Joanie) Campbell and John (Sherri) Campbell all of Montello. Dan is further survived by special friends, Randal and Rebecca Gramse and his special feline buddy, Louie.

Dan is preceded in death by his parents, sister, Phyllis Campbell, brothers-in-law: Jim Valdez and Joe Weiss and special friends, Nancy and Willy Schmidt.

A graveside service for Dan Campbell will be held on Friday, August 21, 2026 at 10:00 AM at Underhill Cemetery, Town of Packwaukee. Rev. Terry Temanson will preside.
