Darwin "Dar" Barron

Darwin Ray Barron, age 56 of Little Suamico passed away unexpectedly Thursday, October 1, 2026 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Green Bay. Darwin was born in Portage on September 14, 1970 to Darwin and Eleanor (Monroe) Barron. He was raised in Montello and later moved to several places around Wisconsin. On July 22, 2000, he was united in marriage at Moundville Methodist Church to Sheila Peterson. Together they moved to Green Bay and eventually settled in Little Suamico. Darwin was most recently employed at Georgia Pacific for the last 13 years as a fork lift operator and other duties. In his spare time, he enjoyed camping, riding his motorcycle and fishing. Darwin never lost his love for demo derbies. He will be remembered for putting his all into everything he did as well as love for his family, especially doing things with his Grandson, Konner.

Darwin leaves behind his wife of 26 years, Sheila, daughter, Destiny Barron, step-daughter, Rachel (Aaron) Panning and grandson, Konner McGraw. He is also survived by his father, Darwin (Janice Atkinson) and three siblings: Joseph (Carol), Laura (Gary) Nys and Todd (Anne), mother-in-law, Barbara Peterson, brothers-in-law, Scott (Kim) and Eric (Tanya) Peterson along with many extended family members.

Darwin is preceded in death by his mother, step-mother, Eleanor and Reva.

A visitation for Darwin R. Barron will be held on Monday, October 12, 2026 from 9:00 until 11:00 AM at Crawford Funeral Home in Montello. Following the visitation, a graveside service led by Pastor Jim Cotter will take place at Moundville Cemetery.
