Debra Parrish

Debra “Debbie” Elsie Parrish, age 69 of Oxford passed away Friday, July 24, 2026 at SSM St. Mary’s Hospital in Madison. Debbie was born in Merrill on April 3, 1957 to Lawrence and Eloise (Duranceau) Schultz. She graduated from Montello High School in 1975. She married the love of her life, Steven Parrish in 2006 and together they enjoyed life and their love of Christ.

Debbie enjoyed being a wife and a mother to her three beautiful daughters. She also enjoyed babysitting, crafting and taking care of her many pets. Most of all, Debbie enjoyed spending time with her family.

Debbie is survived by her husband, Steven and three daughters: Gretchen (Jody) Scott of Rio, Melissa (Jake) Bescup of Westfield and Becky Rae Boening of Oshkosh as well as step-son, Shawn Parrish of Arcadia, FL. She is also survived by grandchildren: Lennette, Jordan, Brandon, Alessa, Kyle, Payton, Sully and Spencer as well as great-grandchildren: Alazander, Mabel and Xara. Debbie is further survived by siblings: Tim (Patti) Schultz, Mark Schultz and Becky (Joe) Fricke along with many other extended family members and special friend, Blacky Boyd.

Debbie is preceded in death by her parents.

A memorial service for Debra Parrish will be held on Friday, July 31, 2026 at 11:00 AM at St. John’s Ev. Lutheran Church in Montello. Visitation will be held from 9:30 AM until the hour of service. Rev. Bruce Hanneman will preside and private family inurnment will take place at later date at the Montello Eastside Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations are preferred to the family.
