Diane Kaiser

December 14, 1942 — December 9, 2015

Diane Evelyn Kaiser, age 72 of Montello passed away peacefully Wednesday, December 9, 2015 at her home. Diane was born in Ripon to Elgard and Evelyn (Freiheit) Moldenhauer on December 14, 1942. She graduated from Princeton High School in 1960. She married Bud Klawitter and was blessed with five children. She later married Lawrence Kaiser and together they were blessed with one son. Diane enjoyed playing cards, going garage saling and going out to eat. Some of her fondest memories were made at her children's cabins in Northern Wisconsin and spending time with her family and especially her grandchildren. Diane was a longtime and active member of St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Montello. Diane is survived by her six children: Todd (Julie) Klawitter of Dalton, Robert (Kristi) Klawitter of Sun Prairie, Lori (Gary) Witt of Portage, Mark Klawitter of Tennessee, Debra (Arthur) Davenport of Wisconsin Dells and James (Tanya) Kaiser of Reedsburg. She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Diane is further survived by her brother, Donald (Bonnie) Moldenhauer and two sisters: Shirley Wilkins and Ardis (Gary) Benz as well as many nieces, nephews and friends. Diane is preceded in death by her parents, husbands and special friend, Orlo Swanke. A memorial service for Diane will be held on Tuesday, December 15, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Emmanuel (Big Mecan) Lutheran Church, town of Mecan. Visitation will be held from 9:30 a.m. until the hour of service. Pastor Pete Zietlow will preside and inurnment will immediately follow the service in the parish cemetery.
