Dolores “Dody” M. Dulaney, age 89 of Montello passed away peacefully Friday, August 16, 2024 at Aspirus Divine Savior Hospital in Portage. Dody was born at home in Dalton, Wisconsin to Arthur and Esther (Wolf) Mulhern on November 1, 1934; she spent her early years on the family farm and graduated from Sauk Prairie High School in 1953. Dody married Jack Dulaney on May 8, 1955. Together they raised seven children; Jack preceded Dody in death on June 26, 2014.

Dody spent countless hours taking care of her family, she loved them all and especially spending time with her grandchildren. She was proud of her Irish heritage and loved horses as well as horseback riding. Dody will be remembered for her back rubs and feisty personality.

Dody is survived by six children: Terry (Tom) Endres of Waunakee, Brian of Montello, Kim Maly of Waunakee, Kathy Dulaney of Evansville, Cindy Liner of Montello, and Kelly Parfait of Montello as well as sixteen grandchildren: Shaun (Kristin), Jeremy (Melissa), Jamie, Heather (Randy), Kim (Sean), Lisa (Steve), Jenny (Mike), Craig (Jessica), Jeff (Marie), Meagan (Dan), Tawny, Jon, Kurt (Amy), Nicole, Jessica (special friend Justin), Tony and Danielle. She is also survived by eleven great-grandchildren, sisters-in-law: Gladys Mulhern, Sadie Hefty, Imogene Strehlow, and Faye Miller and many extended family members.

Dody is preceded in death by her parents, husband, son, Jon and siblings: Arlene Young, Francis Mulhern, Tom Mulhern, Kathleen Ganzlin, Bill Mulhern, Virginia Littel, John Mulhern, Jim Mulhern, Neil Mulhern and Terry Mulhern.

A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial for Dolores “Dody” Dulaney will be held on Tuesday, August 20, 2024 at 11:00 AM at St. Andrew Catholic Church, Town of Buffalo, Marquette County. Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM until the time of service. Father Savio Yerasani will preside and inurnment will follow in the parish cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations are preferred to Alzheimer’s Association, 225 N. Michigan Ave. Floor 17, Chicago, IL 60601.
