Doris Schreindl

Doris Margaret Schreindl, age 91 of Packwaukee passed away peacefully early Wednesday morning, January 29, 2014 at Tivoli in Portage. Doris was born in Coleman, Wisconsin to Joseph and Lorrain (White) Lesperance on April 16, 1922. She graduated from South Milwaukee High School and later married Milton Schreindl on July 27, 1940 in Milwaukee at St. Joseph's Catholic Church. Milton preceded her in death on May 17, 1971. Doris retired from LaBelle Industries in Oconomowoc and moved to Packwaukee in 1992 to live with her daughter. Doris enjoyed baking and cooking and caring for her family. She was a private person but immensely enjoyed spending time with her family. Doris's genuine personality and loving spirit will be greatly missed. Doris is survived by three children: Gary (Lynn) of Necedah, Meta Peacock of Packwaukee and Milton "Bud" Jr. of Racine as well as twelve grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. She is further survived by nieces, nephews and other relatives. Doris is preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughter, Carol (Raymond) Schneider, son-in-law, Samuel Peacock and daughter-in-law, Terry Schreindl. A memorial service for Doris will be held on Friday, January 31, 2014 at 5:00 p.m. at the Crawford Funeral Home in Montello. Visitation will be held from 3:00 p.m. until the hour of service. Father David Carrano will officiate and private family inurnment will take place at a later date.
