Duaine Radtke

July 16, 1939 — May 27, 2015

Duaine L. Radtke, age 75 of Homosassa, Florida and formerly of Endeavor passed away Wednesday, May 27, 2015 at his daughters home in Montello. Duaine was born in Metz, WI on July 16, 1939 to Leonard and Gertrude (Borchardt) Radtke. He graduated from Berlin High School and went on to serve his country as a member of the United States Army. Duaine married Karen Stone on April 4, 1964 at St. John's Lutheran Church in Berlin.

Duaine worked for the State of Wisconsin as a Supervisor within the Department of Corrections, retiring on July 30, 1998 after a long career. He had a wide variety of interests and hobbies. Above all else, his family was very important to him.

Duaine is survived by his wife of 51 years, Karen and two children: Kristine (Arlyn) Johnson of Montello and Dylon (Cindy) of Waupun as well as five grandchildren: Aaron, Derek (Ashley), Amber (Christopher), Dakota and Tessandra. He is also survived by six great-grandchildren, his sister, Drenda Paulsen and nieces and nephews. A memorial service for Duaine Radtke will be held on Thursday, June 4, 2015 at 3:00 p.m. at the Crawford Funeral Home of Montello. Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service. Full military honors will be performed immediately following the service under the direction of American Legion Post 351 of Montello. Private family inurnment will take place at a later date.
