Erika Walters

Erika Eleanor Elizabeth Walters, age 26 of Montello passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, July 29, 2014. Erika was born in Portage to Don and Janice (McChesney) Walters Jr. on April 4, 1988. She attended Montello High School, later receiving her CNA certification and went on to work for several different nursing homes in the area. Erika had a lovely and outgoing personality. She enjoyed music and spending time with her daughter. Erika is survived by her daughter, Andrea' Eleanor Elizabeth Carpenter, her parents: Don Walters Jr. and Janice Walters, both of Montello, one brother, Guy (Renee) of Montello and niece, Tori. She is also survived by her boyfriend, Jake Banks of Portage, paternal grandfather, Don Walters Sr. of Montello and many friends. Erika is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Norman and Eunice McChesney and paternal grandmother, Wanda Walters. A graveside prayer service for Erika will be held on Friday, August 1, 2014 at 3:00 p.m. at the Underhill Cemetery, town of Packwaukee. The service will be led by Dale Mishleau. In lieu of flowers, a memorial is being established for Andrea'. Crawford Funeral and Cremation service of Montello and Oxford is assisting the family with arrangements. www.CrawfordFH.com
