Everette Bandt

Everette Edward Bandt, age 93 of Germania/Neshkoro went home to be with his Lord early Thursday morning, February 26, 2015 at Martha's in Princeton. Everette was born on November 26, 1921 in Germania to the late Edward and Nathalie (Clocksene) Bandt. He was the oldest of two brothers and one sister. He received his first eight grades of education at the Germania Grade School and followed at Neshkoro High School, graduating in 1939. Everette worked the family farm for several years and then was called into the Army in September of 1945; serving for two years. After being discharged in 1947, he went to work at Speed Queen in Ripon and retired after 40 years of faithful employment. He married Evangeline Kuharske on February 4, 1950 in Milwaukee; their attendants were Everette's sister and brother-in-law, Dolores and Martin Bethke. Together they lived in Markesan and Princeton before moving to Germania. In 1961, they purchased the former Gust Bandt farm and lived and farmed there until moving to Martha's in the summer of 2014. Everette enjoyed fishing and spending time in his garden, especially raising flowers. He was a long time member of the Buffalo Community Bible Church as well as the Neshkoro American Legion Post #0423. Everette will be remembered as a great husband and a loving father to his five sons. Everette leaves behind his wife of 65 years, Evangeline "Babe" and five sons: Neil (Lori) of Poynette, Keith (Barb) of Duluth, MN, Jeff of Colorado Springs, CO, Jim of Oregon and Timothy (Jill) of Fond du Lac as well as numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his two brothers: De Forest and Donald (Gerry) as well as cousins, nieces, nephews and many friends. Everette is preceded in death by his parents, sister, Dolores Bethke, sister-in-law, Joyce and daughter-in-law, Jodi. Abiding by Everette's wishes, a private family service will be held and burial will take place at the Princeton City Cemetery.
