Harriet Rose Wirth, age 82 of Oxford passed away peacefully at her daughter’s home in Waukesha on Wednesday, August 6, 2025. Harriet was born in Milwaukee on January 7, 1943 to Adam and Harriet (Kasprzak) Herubin. She graduated from Notre Dame High School in Milwaukee in 1961 and married Richard “Dick” Wirth on November 16, 1963 at St. Josaphats Basilica in Milwaukee. They raised their five children in the Milwaukee area and retired to rural Oxford in 2000.

Harriet was employed at Waukesha County Technical College as an instructor helping students earn their GED. She enjoyed cooking as well as quilting. Harriet will be remembered for phenomenal cooking skills and cream puffs.

Harriet is survived by her husband of 61 years, Dick and five children: Leah (Paul) Fickau, Luke (Kimberly), Heather (Nile) Wirth-Gorske, Wendy (Mike) Priest and Matthew. She also survived by eleven grandchildren and two great-grandsons and her brother, Stan (Pam) Herubin. Harriet is preceded in death by her parents.

A memorial visitation for Harriet Wirth will be held on Wednesday, August 13, 2025 from 4:00 until 7:00 PM at the Crawford Funeral Home in Oxford. She will be laid to rest privately at Mount Calvary Cemetery in Brooks. In lieu of flowers, prayers are preferred.
