Jacqueline Schwochert

Jacqueline 'Jackie' C. Schwochert, age 78 of Dalton, passed away peacefully on Friday, August 27, 2010 at Markesan Resident Home. She was born on September 25, 1931, daughter of the late William and Gwendolyn (Sherman) Kozlowski. Jackie married Gerald 'Bud' Schwochert on October 22, 1949, he preceded her in death on October 4, 1990. Jackie loved life and lived it to the fullest. She enjoyed to crochet, dance, play cards and most of all spend time with her family. Survivors include her five children, Gary, Larry (Gail Ostrander), Nancy Kral-Schrank, Bill and Daryl; 12 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; one brother, Jordan (Donna) Kozlowski; sister in law, Betty Kozlowski; other relatives and many friends. Jackie was preceded in death by two brothers, Jerry and Richard Kozlowski; infant sister, Carol Kozlowski and son in law, Mike Schrank. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday, August 31, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Montello with Rev. Michael Richel officiating. Interment will be in St. John the Baptist Catholic Cemetery. A visitation will be held on Monday, August 30, 2010 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Crawford Funeral Home, Montello and on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of service at the church. In lieu of flowers memorials are appreciated to Markesan Resident Home.
