James Schrott

James "Jim" Ernst Schrott, age 62 of Montello passed away peacefully Sunday, September 24, 2017 at his home. Jim was born in Granite City, IL on March 24, 1955 to John and Margerite (Kapczynski) Schrott. Jim married Shari Tremblay on April 6, 1979. Jim will be sorely missed by his loving family and by all the many people who have crossed his path. Jim is survived by his wife, Shari, his son, James, his lovely granddaughter, Alliah, his sister, Susanne Schrott and his brother, John (Helen) and their family. He is preceded in death by his parents. Jim had a passion for life. He was an avid sports fan (Go Pack Go!). His many interests included: motorcycles, snowmobiling, playing pool and sheepshead. His love of woodworking was known by all. He was a Veteran, a volunteer firefighter and an active member of his community. His love for family and friends will be his legacy. A Celebration of Jim's life will be held on Saturday, September 30, 2017 from 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at American Legion Post 351, W3008 State Road 23, Montello, WI 53949.
