Jay Kratz

Jay Ryan Kratz, age 55 of Packwaukee passed away unexpectedly Thursday, February 16, 2023 at his home.  Jay was born in Portage on June 27, 1967 to Charles and Virginia (Draeger) Kratz.  He attended Montello Schools.  Jay worked construction and was an avid outdoorsman enjoying hunting, fishing and especially ice fishing.  He will be remembered for his stubbornness and willpower. 

Jay leaves behind his mother, Virginia Kratz of Packwaukee, son, Garrett of Montello as well as three brothers:  Jimmy, Lonny and Steve all of Packwaukee.  He is also survived by several nieces and extended family members.

Jay is preceded in death by his father and aunt, Geraldine Draeger.

Private family services will be held at a later date.
