Jenifer Joswiak

Jenifer “Jenny” Marie Joswiak , age 58 of Montello passed away unexpectedly Friday, December 27, 2019 at her home.  Jenny was born in La Crosse, WI on September 19, 1961 to John and Rosemary (Wolf) Joswiak.  She was a graduate of Pewaukee High School.  Jenny worked and raised her family as a single mother in the Waukesha area.  In 2007, she relocated to Montello because she loved the area and to be closer to family.

Jenny was a great mother and grandmother.  She enjoyed camping, going to the beach, nature and gardening.  Jenny always looked forward to her trips to the cabin and holidays cooking for her entire family.  She always remained a member of the Catholic Church and in her younger years was a Sunday School Teacher.  Jenny embraced Native American and Polish cultures and was an avid bird watcher.  She always was willing to help others before herself and will be remembered for her infectious laugh and thoughtful personality.

Jenny leaves behind her three children: Jeremiah (Cori Anderson) Merschoff of Packwaukee, Heather (Brandon) Fusek of Ripon and Sarah Gumenna of Lake Delton and six grandchildren: Jackson, Jaden, Ava, Braxden, Laney and Liam.  She is also survived by three siblings: Jerome (Sue) Joswiak, David Joswiak and Ramona (Sherri) Joswiak as well as nieces, nephews and many friends.    Jenny is preceded in death by her parents.

A memorial service for Jenifer Joswiak will be held on Saturday, January 4, 2020 at 10:00 AM at the Crawford Funeral Home in Montello.  Visitation will be held from 9:00 AM until the hour of service.  Father Savio Yerasani will preside and inurnment will be private.  In lieu of flowers, donations are preferred to the family for a memorial that will be established in Jenifer’s name.
