James Locy

James Dean Locy, born on July 16, 1949, and departed on September 25, 2023, at the age of 74, was a beloved husband, father, and Marine veteran. He is survived by his cherished wife, Jean, his devoted children, Jonathan, Nicole, and Megan, and 12 adored grandchildren.

Jim's life was a testament to love, strength, honor, and his deep passion for farming. His service as a Marine exemplified his unwavering commitment to duty and country, a source of immense pride for his family.

A warm and welcoming presence, Jim had an extraordinary ability to make friends and spread kindness wherever he went. His sense of humor, love for the outdoors, his zest for life, and his dedication to the land he tilled left a lasting impact on all who knew him.

Jim's memory will forever inspire those whose lives he touched. A celebration of life will be held at a later date, where we will commemorate his life, service, and his love for farming. The family kindly requests that you plant a tree in his honor, symbolizing his commitment to family, friends, and his love of farming.

Though Jim's passing leaves a void, his spirit will live on in the hearts of his loved ones. May he rest in eternal peace, remembered as a loving family man, a dedicated Marine, and a steward of the land he so dearly loved.
