Jimmy Isberner

James "Jimmy" F. Isberner Jr., age 53, died unexpectedly at his home on September 21, 2014. He was born on March 25, 1961 in Portage to James F. and Mary L. (Salzwedel) Isberner Sr. Jimmy graduated from Montello High School with the class of 1979. On October 5, 2002 he married Traci Jo Thompson in Montello. He owned and operated Izzie Homes & Design LLC, where his attention to detail was evident in everything he built. Jimmy enjoyed golfing, cutting wood, boating with family, coaching and hunting with his son. He was also an avid NASCAR fan. Jimmy had a contagious laugh that will never be forgotten and he will be sadly missed by his family and friends.

Jimmy is survived by his beloved wife: Traci Isberner; his pride and joy, son: Garrett James Isberner; companion: Izzy; mother: Mary Isberner (Randy Stelter); brothers: Doug (Linda), Steve, Jon (Brenda); father-in-law and mother-in-law: Myron and Joan Thompson; brothers-in-laws, sisters-in-laws, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by his father: James F. Isberner Sr.; sister: Kimberly; brother: Rodney and grandparents.

Funeral services will be held at 6PM on Thursday, September 25, 2014 at St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Montello. Officiating at the service will be Pastor Pete Zietlow with burial at Eastside Cemetery on Friday, September 26, 2014 at 11AM. The family will greet relatives and friends at church on Thursday from 3PM until the time of services at 6PM. Crawford Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements. www.crawfordfh.com
