John Willi

John M. Willi, age 86 of Montello passed away Wednesday evening, August 16, 2017 at Agrace HospiceCare in Fitchburg. John was born in Chicago to John C. and Louise (Janowitz) Willi on April 12, 1931. Following high school, John served his country as a member of the United States Marines and later reenlisted into the United States Navy where he served four more years. He worked as a mechanic in the Chicago area until moving to Briggsville and later relocating to Montello.

John is survived by several friends and is preceded in death by his parents and brother and sister. A Mass of Christian Burial for John M. Willi will be held on Tuesday, August 22, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Montello. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. Burial with full military honors will take place at 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday at Central Wisconsin Veterans Cemetery in King. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 277 E. Montello Street, Montello, WI 53949.
