Kenneth Holderman

Kenneth L. Holderman, age 95 formerly of rural Oxford/Wisconsin Dells passed away peacefully at the Cedar Lake Health and Rehab Center in West Bend, WI. Ken was born in Nappanee, IN on May 8, 1918 to Herman and Hazel (Musser) Holderman. He married Madeline Patterson in February of 1936 in Chicago and she preceded him death in August of 1980. Kenneth later married Virginia Lentz at the Crescent Lake Bible Camp in Rhinelander in January of 1981 and together lived in the Oxford/Wisconsin Dells area until recently moving to Slinger to be closer to family. Ken worked for many years as a tool and die maker and farmer and in retirement he and Virginia spent several winters in Florida, Texas and Arizona. Ken enjoyed hunting, fishing and studying the bible. He was also an avid coin collector. Ken loved his family very much and will not be soon forgotten. Ken is survived by his wife, Virginia and six children: Jack of Wichita Falls, TX, William of Montello, Susan Anderson and Kenneth, both of St. Petersburg, FL, Paul Lentz of Deforest and Joyann (Russell) Guerndt of Slinger. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren as well as two siblings: Alva (Margie) Holderman and Joyce Franz. Ken is preceded in death by his parents, wife, Madeline, son, Thomas, sisters: Eloise and Loa, granddaughter, Debbie and great-granddaughter, Samantha. A funeral service will be held on Friday November 1, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. at the Crawford Funeral Home (formerly the Oxford Funeral Home) in Oxford. Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until the hour of service. Pastor Douglas Livingston will officiate and burial will follow at Lakeview Cemetery, town of Jackson, Adams County.
