Lonnie Barron

Lonnie F. Barron, age 54 of Marquette passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, October 4, 2023 at his home.  He was born on February 14, 1969 in Adams-Friendship to Ronald and Sharyl (Hodgkins) Barron.  Lonnie attended Montello Schools and went to work for Gary Bula Farms and later Green Giant in Beaver Dam.  He most recently was employed as a cook at The Crossroads Chateau.  Lonnie was an avid outdoorsman, especially hunting and fishing.  He also enjoyed playing euchre with his friends and will be remembered for his willingness to help others and put their needs before his.

Lonnie leaves behind his children:  Henry Barron, Loni Rangel and Luke (Vicky Zabel) Barron, mother, Sharyl Meenen as well as his siblings: Ronald (Sabrina) Barron Jr., Cal Barron, Chad (Amber) Barron, Jason (Jamie) Barron, Bradley Barron and Matthew Meenen.  He is also survived by several aunts, uncles and other extended family members. 

Lonnie is preceded in death by his father and step-mother, Ronald and Mary Barron.

A celebration of Lonnie’s Life will be held on Saturday, October 21, 2023 from 1:00 until 3:00 PM at The Crossroads Chateau, N4210 County M and HWY 23, Montello.
