Lonnie Lee Pike, age 68 of Oxford passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 2, 2017 surrounded by family at UW Hospital in Madison. Lonnie was born June 21, 1949 the son of Lee and Velma (Drew) Pike. Lonnie grew up in Oxford and went to Westfield High School where he graduated in 1967. He fell in love with Rebecca Snow whom he married and shared 51 wonderful years and three children with. Lonnie loved listening to his country and western music, watching the wildlife, playing cards, and taking great pride in manicuring his lawn.
He is survived by his wife, Rebecca and three children: Ronald, Andrew and Virginia Pike. His two grandchildren and their fiancAC.s: Taylor (Brock) and Gavin (Kearra) Pike and his two great-grandchildren: Tyla Joleigh Reeson and baby boy Pike to be. Lonnie is also survived by his, sister in-law, Beverly Pike, other extended family members and friends. Lonnie is preceded in death by his grandparents Milfred and Susie Pike, by his father Lee Pike and mother Velma, his brother Lyle, his aunt Lalah and uncle Clyde Sorenson, his cousin Jerry Sorenson, in-laws, as well as several other extended family members. Honoring Lonnie's wishes, private family services will be held at a later date.
