Madonna Shultz

Madonna L. Shultz, age 84 of Montello passed away suddenly, Thursday afternoon, August 8, 2013 at her home. Madonna was born in Chicago, IL on February 19, 1929 to Paul and Thelma (Popham) Gass. She graduated from Lucy Flower High School in Chicago and married Charles Shultz in 1946. They raised their family in the Chicago area and Charles passed away in 1990; following his death, Madonna moved to Montello to be closer to her family. Madonna leaves behind two children: Kathleen (Fred Lenzen) Garland of Montello and David (Doris) Shultz of Melrose Park, IL. She is also survived by three granddaughters: Holly Myers, Tina Garland and Angela (David) Leonard as well as six great-grandchildren: Amanda, Linsey, Kristina, Gabrielle, Sean and Joshua. Madonna is preceded in death by her parents, husband, infant son, Michael. Private family services will be held at a later date.
