Mary Jane Raddatz , age 69 of Montello (Lake Puckaway) passed away Saturday, February 22, 2020 at Crossroads Care Center in Weyauwega. Mary was born on July 28, 1950 in Milwaukee to Stephen and Marie (Wamser) Magenheim; she was one of four girls. She was employed by Marine Bank and later managed Bank One for over 15 years. Mary married her longtime partner, Kenneth Raddatz on July 10, 2015. She managed their trucking business for many years until retirement and together Mary and Ken relocated to Lake Puckaway.
Mary enjoyed helping others. She was involved in serving her community through the Lions Club while living in Merton and working the voting poles for the town of Mecan. Mary was most recently employed at Freitag’s Food and Liquor in Montello. She will be remembered as a loving woman who gave selflessly to so many; Mary will be greatly missed.
Mary is survived by her husband, Ken, daughter, Laura (Kevin) Spencer, son, Kevin Manning, stepsons: Jesse (Amy) Raddatz and Wade (Penelope) Raddatz as well as sister, Kathy (Mike) Truttschel and step-siblings: Janice Heller, Patricia Bub, Mary Kay Ellington, David (Pam) Weber, Ellen Weber and Mike (Charmaine) Weber. She is also survived by brothers-in-law: Mike (Kathy) Raddatz and Jeff (Kim) Raddatz as well as grandsons: Isaiah, Keith, Karl, Eric, Will, Zack and Aaron along with granddaughters: Trista, Linda, Alaina, Violet, Zoey and Amanda. Mary is further survived by many great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.
Mary is preceded in death by her parents, step-father, Roy, sisters: Ann and Joanie and brothers-in-law: Rich and Jerry.
A memorial service for Mary Raddatz will be held on Thursday, March 5, 2020 at 11:00 AM at the Crawford Funeral Home in Montello. Visitation will be held from 9:00 AM until the hour of service. Private family inurnment will take place at a later date at St. Stephen’s Cemetery, town of Fountain Prairie, Columbia County. In lieu of flowers, donations to the family would be appreciated.
