Michael “Mike” Thomas Smith , age 43 of Westfield passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, February 20, 2021. Mike was born in Milwaukee to Richard and Jayne (Lewandowski) Smith on June 30, 1977. After graduating from West Allis Central High School, he furthered his education becoming a master mechanic. Mike was not only a talented and gifted mechanic but also an extremely hard worker. He owned and operated Cleveland Auto in West Allis for many years. After the sale of his business, he came to Westfield and proudly built from the ground up, with his own hands, Westfield Classics.
Mike loved classic cars, motorcycles and collecting old signs. He gave everything of himself to anyone in need of a helping hand. He always had a project going to fill his days and a story to tell of his adventures. He was a dear, caring, loving and kind family member of the Smith and Johnson families. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Mike leaves behind his mother, Jayne (Gary) Johnson of Shawano and four siblings: Chad Johnson of Milwaukee, Dwayne (Cheryl) Johnson of Neshkoro, Dusten Johnson of Milwaukee and Tammie (Jose Herrera) Johnson of Milwaukee. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.

A private memorial service will follow the visitation. In lieu of flowers, donations are preferred to the family for a memorial that will be established in Mike’s name.
