Robert Mazurek

Robert 'Bronco' Mazurek, age 73 of Montello passed away Monday, March 12, 2012 at his home on Buffalo Lake. Robert was born in St. Louis, MO on July 17, 1938 to John and Lottie (Panus) Mazurek. He graduated from Grayslake High School in Grayslake, IL and he furthered his education at the St. Louis College of Pharmacy, graduating in 1961. Robert owned and operated Mazurek's Pharmacy in Waukegan, IL for 25 years until retiring to the Montello area in 1999. In his spare time, Robert loved to hunt, fish as well as woodworking. He leaves behind his two children and four grandchildren: Mark, Danica, Brandon and McKenna. He is also survived by other family members and many dear friends who assisted him during his illness. Robert is preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Elaine Hodge. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 14, 2012 at 1:30 p.m. at the Crawford Funeral Home, Montello. Visitation will be held from 12:30 p.m. until the time of service. Denise Cole will lead the service and Robert will be buried at Calvary Catholic Cemetery in St. Louis, Missouri at a later date.
