Rolla Tolbert

Rolla Tolbert Jr., age 75 of Packwaukee passed away peacefully Friday, February 10, 2023 at his home surrounded by his family.  Rolla was born on September 12, 1947 in Joliette, IL to Rolla Sr. and Rosemary (Olejniczak) Tolbert.  He proudly served his country as a member of the United States Army.  Rolla worked for Power Packer in Westfield, retiring in 1994 after working 29 years as a welder.  He was an avid hunter and fisherman and always looked forward to spending time with his family during the holidays.   Rolla will be remembered for his ability to talk and drink with anyone.

Rolla is survived by his three children: Kim (Telo) Ebert of Packwaukee, Kelly (Jody) Bowman of Packwaukee and Kevin of Mauston as well as six grandchildren:  Cody, Emily, Chase, Derrick, Ava and Preston.  He is also survived by great-granddaughters: Addison and Berkley, siblings: Judy (Don) Wentland, Kathy (Leonard) Baughman, Barb (Rick Jensen) Footit, James Tolbert and Pam (Jeff) Mohr as well as many other extended family members.

Rolla is preceded in death by his parents and brothers: Ronnie (Marlene) and Donnie.

A funeral service for Rolla Tolbert Jr. will be held on Wednesday, February 15, 2023 at 2:30 PM the Crawford Funeral Home in Montello.  Visitation will be held from 1:00 PM until the hour of service.  Pastor Brenda Pulver will preside and full military honors by American Legion Post #351 of Montello will take place immediately following the service.  Rolla will be laid to rest at a later date at the Westfield East Cemetery.
