Ronald A. Wilken

Ronald A. Wilken, age 70 of Montello, passed away on Tuesday, July 7, 2026 at Aurora St. Luke’s Medical Center in Milwaukee. He was born on April 5, 1956 in Blue Island, IL to Leslie and Sarah (Steinfatt) Wilken.

Ron graduated from Bloom High School in Chicago Heights, IL in 1974. He attended Joliet Junior College where he received an Associate’s degree in Culinary Arts. Ron moved to Montello in 1980. He worked at Divine Savior Nursing Home in Portage in food service for 15 years. Ron enjoyed dirt racing, hunting and gardening.

Ron is survived by his sister, Arlene (Joe) Stadnik; nephew, Joe (Pam) Stadnik; other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents.

According to Ron’s wishes, no service will be held.
