Rozanne Sweeney

Rozanne K. Sweeney, age 65 of Montello/Lake Puckaway passed away Sunday morning, September 7, 2014 at Divine Savior Hospital in Portage. Rozanne was born in Lake City, Iowa on May 9, 1949 to Raymond and Viola (Karges) Ihrke. She was raised near Dexter, Minnesota and graduated from Elkton High School in 1966. Rozanne attended Austin Community College and went to work for International Transport. She married Gary Sweeney at Hales Corners Lutheran Church on June 21, 1986 and together they moved to Lake Puckaway in 1995. Gary preceded her in death on February 1, 2011. Rozanne is survived by her father, Raymond Ihrke and brother, William (Joy) Irhke, nieces: Tristen (Caesar) Torres and Amber (Syd) Schramm all of Minnesota. She is also survived by two step-children: Scott (Kim) of Muskego and Debi (Mike Zimmermann) Sweeney of New Berlin as well as two grandchildren: Kristen (Dave Bolek) and Ryan Sweeney and great-granddaughter, Shay.

Rozanne is preceded in death by her mother and husband. A Celebration of Rozanne's Life will be held on Friday, September 12, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at the Crawford Funeral Home of Montello. Visitation will be held from 12:30 p.m. until the time of service. Pastor Jeff Radley will preside and private family inurnment will take place at a later date.
