Sandra Dolgner

April 5, 1946 — December 14, 2018

Sandra “Sandy” Lee Dolgner , age 72 of Montello peacefully slipped away to meet her Heavenly Father while surrounded by her family and dear friend on Friday, December 14, 2018 at the Montello Care Center.  Sandy was born in Fond du Lac on April 5, 1946 to Earl and Frances (Terwilleger) Dreier.  She graduated from Brandon High School in 1964 and furthered her education receiving training to become a Licensed Nurse Practitioner.  Sandy married Kenneth Dolgner on July 17, 1965 at the Methodist Church in Brandon and together they were blessed with three children; Kenneth preceded Sandy in death on March 31, 2003.

Sandy worked alongside Ken as they owned and operated Shady Oaks Auto Body in rural Montello for more than 25 years.  She enjoyed gardening, painting, knitting and playing bingo.  Sandy was an active member of both the Marquette Community Church and the Red Hatters Club.  She still kept in close contact with her classmates from her 12 years of school in Brandon; taking annual vacations together and celebrating many reunions.  Most of all, Sandy loved her family and cherished the time they spent together.

Sandy is survived by her three children: Annette Roberts of Harrisville, Steve (Andrea) of Westfield and Jesse (Becky) of Brandon as well as six grandchildren: Christopher (Nicki) Woitula, Dustin (Rachel) and Hannah Dolgner, Alayne and Isabella Roberts and Kylee Reichartz.  She is also survived by her sister, Mary (Les) McCullough as well as niece, Angela (Dave) Engebregtsen and nephew, Aaron (Becky) McCullough and other extended family members and friends.

Sandy is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Kenneth and aunt, Virginia Dreier.

A Celebration of Sandy’s Life will be held on Saturday, January 19, 2019 from 1:00 until 4:00PM at the Marquette Community Church, 610 Doty Street, Montello, WI 53949.  All are welcome to come and enjoy a luncheon and share memories.  In lieu of flowers, donations are preferred to the family for a memorial that will be established in Sandy’s name.
