Steven Allen Schwersinske, age 69 of Packwaukee, passed away on Thursday, July 9th 2026 surrounded by his loved ones. He was born on February 11th, 1957 in Edgerton, WI to Darwin Donald and Mildred Ann (Krueger) Schwersinske. Steve was employed at Eagles Homes II until retirement in 2020. Prior to that he was employed at Broan MNG (Nortec) for 25 years before moving from Hubertus to Packwauakee.

Steve will always be remembered for his remarkable ability to figure out almost anything and find a way to make it work. His talent for maintenance and carpentry was one of his greatest gifts, and he took great pride in the skills he developed throughout his life.

Steve loved hunting and fishing, and one of his greatest joys was sharing those passions with his children and grandchildren, creating memories that will be treasured for years to come.

Steve was one of the kindest and most generous people. He was a quiet supporter, loyal friend, incredibly hardworking, and deeply devoted to his family. Nothing made him prouder than his children and grandchildren. The world lost a truly wonderful man.

Steve is survived by his wife, Cheryl; two children Bryan (Trina) Schwersinske and Tina (Michael Johnson) Schwersinske; grandchildren Brianna (Dylan) Morley, Kailey and Leland Schwersinske, and Audrey Johnson; brother Donald (Darlene) Schwersinske and many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
