Vito Lepka

Vito Lepka, age 71 of Harrisville passed away peacefully Sunday morning, March 9, 2014 at his home with his brother by his side. Vito was born in Czechoslovakia on February 15, 1943 the son of Timothy and Josephine (Novotny) Lepka. His strong Catholic Faith led him through many hardships in his life. He also enjoyed collecting religious items. Vito is survived by three brothers: Peter (Sabina) and Paul, both of Freeport, IL, and George (Margaret) of Harrisville as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, infant sister, Maria Pauline and niece, Alexes. A Mass of Christian Burial for Vito will be held on Thursday, March 13, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Montello. Visitation will be held from 9:30 a.m. until the hour of service. Father David Carrano will officiate and burial will follow at St. John the Baptist Catholic Cemetery, Montello.
