Vivian Harring

February 10, 1923 — February 22, 2012

Vivian B. Harring, age 89 of Montello went to be with her Lord and Savior Wednesday evening, February 22, 2012 from Berlin Memorial Hospital. Vivian was born on February 10, 1923 to Arthur and Blanche (Edwards) Wardell in Hammond, IN. She married Vince Spanier who preceded her in death, from that union came five children. Her second marriage was to Willard Brown Sr. who also preceded her in death, from that union came four children. She later married Sidney Harring who also preceded her in death; from that marriage she was blessed with seven step-children. Vivian prided herself on her time working during World War II in the Youngstown Steel Mill as a burner/welder as well as caring for her family. In her spare time, Vivian enjoyed cooking, crocheting, listening and dancing to music. She loved her family very much and will be missed by all who knew her. Vivian is survived by fifteen loving children, thirty-two wonderful grandchildren and thirty-five cherished great-grandchildren as well as two great-great-grandchildren. In addition to her three husbands, Vivian is preceded in death by her daughter, Joanie Hoyne. A funeral service will be held on Sunday, February 26, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at the Crawford Funeral Home, Montello. Visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. (noon) until the time of service. Pastor Brenda Pulver will officiate and burial will follow at Oakhill Cemetery, Packwaukee Township. In lieu of flowers, donations are preferred to memorial that is being established in Vivian's name. Crawford Funeral Home of Montello is assisting the family with arrangements. www.CrawfordFH.com
